花水木 Cornus florida    中譯大花四照花

                                   山茱萸科山茱萸屬四照花亞屬落葉喬木

                                   原產地  北美            別名美國山法師

                                   花期為4月下旬到5月上旬

                                   花朵為白色或淡粉紅色

                                   秋天則結成紅色的果實

                          1912年明治時代當時的東京市長贈與美國華盛頓D.C.櫻花

                           在1915年得到  花水木 Cornus florida Linn  的回禮
